2005-03-01 [qwertyasdfgzxcvb]: I made just few corrections to the spelling =)
2005-03-01 [OceanBorn]: oh thankyou, i never checked! >.<
2005-03-01 [qwertyasdfgzxcvb]: What's the difference between program and programme?
2005-03-01 [OceanBorn]: two m's and an e :P
2005-03-01 [qwertyasdfgzxcvb]: :D
2005-03-01 [qwertyasdfgzxcvb]: I'm starting like more and more the idea that each member could have some part of the wiki to maintain and build. It gives the wiki more personality and lets me be lazy again =)
2005-03-01 [OceanBorn]: yah...but you gota let me realise my own errors! ;)
2005-03-01 [qwertyasdfgzxcvb]: you think so? so that I should not correct any mistakes or fix the outfit of sub-wikis?
2005-03-02 [OceanBorn]: well, you can... :P it is your wiki, but i just though id control this sub wiki since i made it ;) then again, it doesnt matter...does anybody know who added the question? :S
2005-03-02 [qwertyasdfgzxcvb]: Well, maybe I just leave this part to you then =) and that is my question.
2005-03-04 [OceanBorn]: im not sure what you mean when you say you apply it twice, do you mean the texture or filter?
2005-03-04 [qwertyasdfgzxcvb]: I mean I apply the filter twice because one time doesn't make it realistic sphere. Try to make a ball or planet with it and you see what I mean. It takes few seconds.
2005-03-06 [OceanBorn]: then try adding the texture ontop again and fading the opcity or changing the blend mode :)
2005-03-06 [qwertyasdfgzxcvb]: I fear it will make the sphere effect to lose its impact
2005-03-07 [OceanBorn]: just try it, you can always delete the layer, but like i said blend modes might change that..
2005-03-07 [qwertyasdfgzxcvb]: it's just if you make the filter to the bottom layer and put another layer on top of it it covers the effect as it is visible only in the bottom layer. blending modes might work or make it even more messed up. I'll try it.
2005-03-24 [Lioness123]: you guys, this site is my source for all my tutorials. Give it a try, its awesome.
2005-03-31 [Ocean Soul]: That depends on the quality in which you save the pic, i would suggest...
2005-03-31 [qwertyasdfgzxcvb]: It doesn't matter if I save it with max quality or any file type. But I discovered the reason. It was badly calibrated color profile. Photoshop is kinda "advanced" program so it needs one. I was using some default profile while I shouldn't have.
2005-04-02 [Tupile]: i think it depends... if you look at just the texture itself, it warps just perfectly at high resolution when you use spherize. The problem is more with lighting. Appropriate lighting will make it look a lot rounder. Try Render -> Lighting Effects for a quick fix
2005-04-02 [Tupile]: There is a couple of other features in photoshop that can be used to render textures on a ball. Try using Render -> 3D Transform... Or if you want to get really fancy, use Distort -> Displace
2005-04-02 [qwertyasdfgzxcvb]: mmm.. I've tried better resolutions too but then the problem becomes down sizing the pic.. it loses some qualities and 2048x2048 isn't good resolution for every site :P but thanks anyway for tips.
2005-04-13 [qwertyasdfgzxcvb]: OceanBorn, It wasn't about formats but badly calibrated color profile. It was changed into default somehow but I fixed it.
2005-04-25 [qwertyasdfgzxcvb]: Keisari, try changing top layer's transparency or add a mask.
2005-06-19 [qwertyasdfgzxcvb]: [Truth . Beauty . Love], try to make the text layer transparent. At least it works with Paint Shop Pro Studio
2005-09-21 [zei-tan]: [Truth . Beauty . Love] Do you mean partial transparency or like "punching holes" to the layer?
2006-12-18 [Cookieholic]: Could just lower the opacity =P
